’PREMIO EUROPEO CARLOS V’ 2012

 

La Fun­dación Acad­e­mia Euro­pea de Yuste con­voca el ‘PREMIO EUROPEO CARLOS V’ 2012 des­ti­nado a pre­miar a aque­l­las per­sonas físi­cas que, con su esfuerzo y ded­i­cación, hayan con­tribuido al conocimiento gen­eral y engrandec­imiento de los val­ores cul­tur­ales, cien­tí­fi­cos, sociales e históri­cos de Europa y/o a la unifi­cación europea.

Las can­di­dat­uras al ‘PREMIO EUROPEO CARLOS V’ 2012 podrán pre­sen­tarse a prop­uesta de insti­tu­ciones, enti­dades públi­cas, enti­dades cul­tur­ales, cien­tí­fi­cas, uni­ver­si­tarias o socioe­conómi­cas de cualquier Estado europeo, estando en condi­ciones de poder ase­gu­rar la aceptación del can­didato prop­uesto, que puede ser de cualquier nacional­i­dad europea.

El plazo de pre­sentación de can­di­dat­uras final­iza el día 30 de marzo de 2012.

‘CHARLES V EUROPEAN AWARD’ 2012


The Euro­pean Acad­emy of Yuste Foun­da­tion makes pub­lic the call for nom­i­na­tions for the ‘Charles V Euro­pean Award’ 2012, whose aim is to reward those per­sons who, through their effort and ded­i­ca­tion, have con­tributed to a ‘bet­ter knowl­edge and dis­sem­i­na­tion of the cul­tural and his­tor­i­cal val­ues of Europe, and/or to the uni­fi­ca­tion of the Euro­pean Union’.

Can­di­dates to the ‘Charles V Euro­pean Award’ 2012, who should be nation­als of any Euro­pean coun­try, may be nom­i­nated by any Euro­pean insti­tu­tion, pub­lic entity, uni­ver­sity, or cul­tural, sci­en­tific or socio-economic body. All nom­i­na­tions will require pre­vi­ous accep­tance of the Award on the part of the candidate.

The dead­line to sub­mit nom­i­na­tions is 30th March 2012.

Archeology — Benedictine Abbeys in Somogy, Hungary

Recently we  have trans­lated the sum­mary of the sources and results of the arche­o­log­i­cal research of Bene­dic­tine Abbeys in Som­ogy County in Hun­gary. The Abbeys were estab­lished in the 11th — 13th cen­tury and their ruins have been exca­vated and sci­en­tif­i­cally pre­sented.  The book will be pub­lished in the early 2011.
